About Benjamin D. Pierce

Ben moved to Arizona in 2015 after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In Arizona, he attended the Arizona College of Law and graduated in 2018.

After graduating from law school, Ben served as the senior clerk to John R. Lopez IV of the Arizona Supreme Court for the 2018-2019 session.

After completing his clerkship, Ben started his career in high value, high stakes plaintiffs' litigation. His practice mostly focused on antitrust and securities fraud.

Next, Ben went on to work for several prominent defense firms. However, he decided to return to plaintiffs' work full time in 2023 and has been doing so ever since. Today, Ben's practice focuses exclusively on high value cases of all varieties. Notably, he secured judgments of $16 million and $4.1 million against defendants across the country in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Despite finding success in other plaintiffs' matters, Ben's passion project is helping restaurant staff secure the compensation they deserve when they are wronged by their employers. Ben was a food server at Cracker Barrel Old Country store for 7 years (see picture circa 2014 below), and he knows how often restaurant staff are taken advantage of. To that end, Ben and the founding partners of Sud & Pierce have been legally pursuing Cracker Barrel in federal court since 2021. The firm has successfully established the largest collective action against Cracker Barrel in the country and has helped hundreds of servers secure the compensation they deserve.

Sud & Pierce was built upon an ethos of service to our clients and securing justice for them, and we remain available to serve your legal needs, big or small. Please feel free to contact Ben, or any founding partners, with any inquires you have.
